Do I have to be able to run before I join the group?
No, you don't have to have any running experience as the group caters for all abilities.

Can I just turn up on a club night?
You can contact us by Facebook or via the Contacts Us page on the website or you can turn up on one of the training sessions. The club leaders will greet you and have a chat with you at the session. It's important to us that new people are made to feel welcome and enjoy their first run with us
How far and fast do you run?
Distances vary depending on who turns up for the sessions, which are tailored to the groups ability. New members will always have someone to run with. More information can be found on the Training page.
Is drinking water available?
No the club does not have a clubhouse so we advise runners to bring their own bottled water.
What do I need to wear?
Information about what to wear can be found on the Training Kit page
How do I join?
Details of how to join and membership fees can be found on the Home page. New membrs will be expected to join after three free sessions.

The Running Group Coaches/Leaders are volunteers who have completed either the Coach or Leadership in Running Fitness training and are willing to share their experience and enjoyment of the sport with you. Participation in this group is entirely at individual members own risk and members should consult their doctor if suffering from any condition that might make running injurious to their health. If recovering from an injury, members should follow the advice given by their doctor, physiotherapist or other health professional before returning to training.
