Great news! Our ever expanding running/triathlon/fitness club Betsi Runaways has been nominated for a Staff Achievement Award for outstanding contribution to staff health and wellbeing. Really proud of what we do. The team were highly commended at the ceremony - well done everyone

Congratulations and thanks to our Awyr Las 5K Race winner John Spill and fastest female Sian Beck. As race winners, they decided that the Children’s Wards in Ysbyty Gwynedd and Ysbyty Glan Clwyd should benefit from a personal £1,000 donation from Betsi Health Board Chairman Dr Peter Higson.
The donations will be used to fund toys, games and distraction items which can make a real difference to children when they are poorly or in pain. Thank you both, and of course – a very special thanks to Dr Peter Higson for his donation.

Awyr Las have teamed up with the Betsi Runaways running group and The National Trust to organise the first ever Awyr Las 5k and fun run, which will take place in the picturesque grounds of Plas Newydd on Anglesey this September.
The race provides a great opportunity to give something back to the healthcare services that are closest to your heart by raising money for a specific hospital ward, department or healthcare service in North West Wales.
